Join Us at the First-Ever Merit Boogie!

Chicagoland Skydiving Center and Merit have teamed up to put on the first Merit inspired boogie this Labor Day weekend 2019. The weekend will be oriented around skills and progression in a fun, high intensity, camp-like environment. CSC will fully utilize the Merit platform to share Merits with jumpers as they check-in with manifest (via Burble), fulfill requirements, reach goals, and win awards. "We're stoked to work with CSC—the first dropzone to host a Merit inspired boogie—to bring the ease & magic of Merit to all jumpers who come out," says Dylan Avatar of Merit. "It'll be an awesome time, not to mention a great place to rack up tons of merits across the activities they'll be putting on."

The event is open to jumpers of all levels and disciplines including students and even tandems. You can expect to participate in scavenger hunts, MFS scrambles, belly scrambles, drinking events, accuracy comps, and more. "When we came up with the idea to create an event around skill-building, Merit was the natural partner to help us pull it off," says CSC's CEO and President, Doug Smith. "We are excited to offer our jumpers fun, tangible ways that they can get closer to their skydiving goals, all captured in the form of merits."
