Merit was a proud sponsor and participant of Horizons Annual Summit, held on June 14 and 15, 2023 in New Orleans, LA!

A highlight of the conference was our  session: “Collaborative Transformation: How Washington State Aligned Skills-Based Training & Career Pathways" held on Thursday, June 15 at 1:30 p.m. 

Our  session unpacked how workforce communities like those in Washington State can work together to:

  • Give students and workers agency over their credentials 
  • Make career pathways visible to job seekers
  • Build learning and employment (LER) records that evolve over time
  • Establish measurement systems for skills-based training
